Initial concept very good – but it was new. But it seemed to work for one house
nearby. So we decided to give it a go. For the fee 2 roost where charging compared
to the traditional estate agents – we thought that we had nothing to loose and if
it didn’t work out then we would go with tradition – but sometimes you have to break
with tradition and give a new concept a try, we are big believers in supporting
local and small businesses.We were told one good piece of advice from someone who had sold and bought numerous times and that was ‘95 % of what sells a house is the ‘For Sale Board’ - you have to advertise you are for sale’. For our initial meeting - 2 Roost visited extremely promptly – there was no hard sell – just some straight answers to some straight questions. They were very professional in their approach and did exactly what they said they were going to do and politely – something not experienced frequently in this day and age. After a couple of weeks a buyer was found and a sale agreed. But sadly they had their own reasons for pulling out of the sale but – 2 Roost were there promptly with a very detailed back up of interested parties and the house was re-sold again within 2 days.
